Zombie Uprising has seen a huge uptick in players thanks to its month-long August 2021 event. There are tons of new weapons, a new map, weapon attachments, upgraded models, and lots more. It definitely fits into our list of the best zombie games on Roblox right now.
Team up with your friends or play solo as you battle against greater and greater waves of zombies. Earn in-game currency by playing the game and you can unlock some awesome skins for your weapons and character.
14 Energy Assault
Energy Assault is a fast-paced futuristic FPS with loads of iconic weapons and even more iconic maps, including the famous Carentan. This is probably one of the best-looking games on this list.
Rank up by winning matches and getting kills. Each time you rank up you earn more cosmetics, weapons, skins, and get to show off to other players on the server.
13 Bad Business
Bad Business is an intense Roblox shooter game with a prestige system, lots of different weapons that you can build into unique loadouts, and tons of cosmetic items to customize your character.
Bad Business is extremely fast-paced. Running with your knife out makes you go faster but it’s the bunny-hopping and quick movement that makes this such a fun game to play. It’s very addictive and easily goes close to the top of the list for the best Roblox games with guns.
12 S.W.A.T Simulator
S.W.A.T Simulator is split into two games really: the training exercises where you learn how to raid rooms and buildings, then a bunch of unique scenarios where you have to put those skills to the test. This could even fit into our list of the best Simulator games in Roblox, but we’ve stuck it in shooting games.
You can play with authentic S.W.A.T gear and weapons, either with your friends or on your own. It’s a highly-rated game but not that popular on Roblox, but you should definitely go and check it out if it sounds like fun.
11 Phantom Forces
Phantom Forces has been one of the leading FPS games on Roblox since 2015. Over the past five years, it has received over one billion visits and receives regular updates with new guns and maps.
What makes the game stand out from the rest? Well, it features some very advanced mechanics for a Roblox game, including Bullet Drop, Bullet Velocity, and gun balance that is regularly tweaked. There are five game modes in Phantom Forces: Team Deathmatch, Flare Domination, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag and Kill Confirmed.
10 KAT
KAT, or Knife Ability Test, is a fast-paced Roblox game all about throwing knives and shooting guns. First released back in 2017, the game currently has over 500 million visits. It received its last update back in November 2020 but has enough content to keep you happy while you wait for the next one.
Like other Roblox games, this one is all about grinding for special weapons. There are cool knives like the Ghost Knife, Laser Knife, and Explosive Knife which are unlocked with gems, the game’s currency. Everything can be purchased with Robux, if you prefer.
9 Arsenal
Arsenal is one of the all-time great combat Roblox games. It’s an FPS game that takes lots of inspiration from Counter-Strike’s Arms Race mode, which is a bit like Gun Game. You have to kill enemies with a variety of different weapons, before securing the final 32nd kill with a Golden Knife.
It’s popular because of its awesome sound design (with sounds taken from other popular games, like Team Fortress 2), and the design of all the different weapons. A revamped version of the game was released in 2018, and in its lifespan, it has attracted over 2 billion visits.
8 Shoot Out!
Shoot Out! pits some of the most famous historical characters together, including Roman soldiers or awesome samurai. There’s a range of different guns and weapons that you can use, although this game has a bit more to it than just guns.
Although the game is called Shoot Out!, there’s actually a big focus on melee weapons. All sorts of things from Steel Chairs to Samurai Swords. Which will you use? Different characters also have special abilities to try out.
7 Counter Blox: Remastered
Counter Blox: Remastered, or just Counter Blox as it appears on the Roblox game menu, is basically a free version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The game revolves around a series of 5v5 matches across iconic maps from the Counter-Strike series, including the famous Dust 2.
You earn money while you play the game that is then used to purchase weapons and other gear for the next round. You can use Funds, the in-game currency, to purchase Cases that might contain rare or interesting cosmetics for your weapons or other accessories.
6 Zombie Attack
Zombie Attack is one of the original Zombie games on Roblox and since 2017 it has amassed over four million favorites and over one billion visits. Talk about popular. The game is a “Zombie Wave” game where you and your teammates must hold out against more and more zombies.
You can use either a sword or gun to kill zombies, and eventually, you’ll need to defeat a Boss. There are different types of Bosses and they get harder the higher wave you’re on. Eventually, you will be defeated, as the game scales in difficulty beyond even the best players.
5 Strucid (Beta)
Strucid is pretty much the Roblox alternative to Fortnite. It’s a Battle Royale with building mechanics that you can play with your friends or as a solo player. The graphics are surprisingly good for a Roblox game.
The building is pretty slick, and although the game hasn’t received an update on its expected “Chapter 2” it’s still one of the most popular shooting games in Roblox. There might be a big update coming later this year, so keep your eyes open for any news.
4 War Simulator
War Simulator is a Roblox game that takes you through the ages. As you progress through the game and kill more enemies you’ll unlock in-game currency which can be used to level up your gear. The gear goes through different ages, from the Ancient to the Modern. This is more of a PvP game (where you shoot AI characters) than some of the multiplayer Roblox shooting games on this list.
Compared to many of the games on this list, War Simulator is a bit of a newbie. It was first released in 2020 and since then has accrued almost 100 million visits.
3 Island Royale
Another Fortnite clone, Island Royale takes a lot of inspiration from the popular Battle Royale. Players drop onto an island and scramble around for guns, materials, and other loot to survive until they’re the last person standing. Yes, you can use materials to build structures. It’s also one of the best places to show off your fancy Roblox outfits.
The game was originally released as a Robux-only exclusive game, though since 2018 it has been free-to-play and regularly attracts up to 5,000 players during its peak hours. Out of all the games on this list, Island Royale probably receives some of the most regular updates.
2 Polybattle
We’ve had Fornite, Call of Duty and Counter-Strike… now it’s time for Battlefield. Polybattle is as close as you’re going to get to a low-poly version of the hit franchise. There are vehicles, including tanks and trucks, and a bunch of different classes for the soldiers. You’ll even find a version of the popular Strike at Karkand map from the Battlefield series.
The newest version of Polybattle was released in 2020 and it continues to receive regular updates. These include new vehicles, weapons, and maps that run in a rotation. This is one of the more complex Roblox shooting games and definitely worth checking out.
1 BIG! Paintball
BIG! Paintball probably takes the crown as the best paintball shooting game in Roblox. Since 2019, it has had almost 800 million visits and close to four million favorites. There are a bunch of different maps, paintball guns, and unlockable cosmetics as you play.
The game also has Killstreaks, like the Nukes from Call of Duty. Different rifles have different abilities, so there is a bit of a grind to get the best gear. Each lobby supports up to 18 players at once.
